The Theban Mapping Project employs a very talented group of team members, experienced and specializing in Egyptology, archaeology, a wide range of languages, architecture, photography, art and computing. We are a multi-cultural team and have members from Egypt, America, Belgium, Pakistan, and Australia. Most of our full-time staff work in our office in central Cairo, which is based at the American University in Cairo. During the field season the core team expands to include specialist excavators, conservators, surveyors, engineers and finds and faunal specialists.
